Description

This course will prepare you for the Apple Service ACMT Hardware re-certification exam (9L0-315) which is the Hardware requirement for the ACMT re-certification program.

Prerequisites

ALL current Apple Certified Macintosh Technicians (ACMT) whose certification is due to expire.

Assumed Knowledge

You must have an existing ACMT certification that is about to expire. 
We recommend you take the re-certification course no more than 30 days before your expiry date.

Course Content

The 9L0-315 course and exam consists of the following sections:

ESD Precautions: 
In this course, you will review how electro-static discharge (ESD) can damage equipment. In addition, you will be shown work practices that can guard against such damage.

Technician Safety: 
Overview of Servicing Macintosh Hardware implementing the correct safety procedures. We will overview Shock Hazards and Hazardous Materials, Specific Macintosh Safety Procedures and Special Take-Apart handing and Tools.

Embedded Battery Safety: 
This section will take a look at the correct handling and safety measures to apply around Portable computers and Embedded Battery Handling.

Troubleshooting Scenarios: 
How to make the best use of the official AppleCare Technician Guides.

AppleCare New procedures and tips: 
Overview of the latest troubleshooting tips and changes to service procedures.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011): 
This course covers features of the MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011) introduced in October 2011.
