This course is designed to introduce Oracle DBAs, software development personnel and database support staff to the primary features and constructs of the PL/SQL Programming Language.

Together with the PL/SQL Stored Program Units course, this course is suitable for delegates intending to sit the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate examination #1Z0-147: Program with PL/SQL.

Skills

By the end of the course, the delegate will be able to write programs which use some or all of the primary PL/SQL programming constructs.

Prerequisites

A working knowledge of Oracle's SQL*Plus or iSQL*Plus products and practical experience in writing SQL statements. This can be gained by attendance on the Pre-Requisite course Oracle SQL. Some previous programming experience will also prove advantageous.

Before taking any exam, ensure you have the recommended experience.
