What is a NEBOSH Course?
The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a globally recognised qualification for anyone engaged in health and safety in the workplace in Birmingham.

NEBOSH National General Certificate: For managers and supervisors. There are two units: NG1 Management of Health and Safety, an at-home open book exam, and NG2 Risk Assessment, including an at-work practical assessment.
NEBOSH National Diploma: A degree level NEBOSH course with four units covering: Managing Health and Safety, Hazardous Substances/Agents, Workplace and Work Equipment Safety and Application of Health and Safety at Work.
NEBOSH International General Certificate: A foundation course for managers, supervisors and employee representatives outside the UK embarking upon a health and safety career. This NEBOSH training covers the same ground as the NEBOSH National General Certificate.
NEBOSH International Diploma: This NEBOSH course must be completed in five years. It has four units based on international health and safety standards, three of which are assessed by exam, with the fourth by an 8,000-word workplace project.
NEBOSH International Certificate in Oil and Gas Safety: A vital qualification for managers, supervisors, safety representatives and newly qualified health and safety advisors working in the on and offshore oil and gas industry.
NEBOSH International Certificate in Construction Health and Safety: Students will gain a detailed understanding of how to identify and manage hazards in the construction industry workplace.
NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate:This NEBOSH training has two units. The first is theory-based: Management and Control of Environmental Hazards, and the second a practical workplace assessment.
NEBOSH National Construction Certificate: Students learn the core health and safety elements and how to identify and manage workplace hazards in the construction industry.
NEBOSH National General Certificate to Construction Conversion: With 12 elements, this NEBOSH course is for anyone who has completed the NEBOSH General Certificate in the last five years. The course covers Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities.
NEBOSH Fire Certificate: For anyone with fire safety responsibilities at work. Students take two written exams and one practical workplace assessment. This Birmingham based NEBOSH training can be studied online, in-house or in the classroom.
