NEBOSH General Certificate Course Content

There are two units, NG1 and NG2 and two assessments. The assessment costs are included in the course price:

Unit NG1: Management of Health and Safety

Course participants gain an understanding of:

  • People and processes involved when managing workplace health and safety risk

At the end of this unit, students undergo an open book exam taken in their own home.

Unit NG2: Risk Assessment

  • Chemical and biological agents
  • General workplace issues
  • Equipment in the workplace
  • Fire
  • Electricity

At the end of this unit, students undergo a practical risk assessment in their workplace.
